From Cough to Critical: The Role of Syndromic Respiratory Testing Across the Care Continuum

Tuesday, July 29
3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Exhibit Hall Theater 2
Sponsored by bioMérieux

Overview

As respiratory illnesses continue to challenge healthcare systems across seasons and care settings, the need for timely, accurate, and comprehensive diagnostic tools has never been greater. This session brings together two physicians: one representing inpatient and critical care from a large health system, and the other offering a perspective on urgent and near-patient care, to share how syndromic PCR testing informs real-world patient management.

With a focus on respiratory panels used in both outpatient and inpatient settings, the conversation will explore how diagnostics serve as a bridge between care environments that may improve triage, streamline workflows, and help ensure continuity of care.
