ADLM 2024 offers a variety of events where attendees can meet up with colleagues from across the globe. ADLM Divisions, the Academy, the Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL), and other groups will all host special events at the meeting.

A presentation on the value of algorithmic fairness to health equity and a case study of its application at the Washington University School of Medicine will be followed by a presentation of the winning approach to DASC’s third annual data analytics competition, with time for questions and discussion. The FairLabs data analytics competition challenged participants to develop a dashboard for analyzing and visualizing fairness in laboratory testing using a real, de-identified clinical dataset.
