When and where will ADLM 2025 be held?

ADLM 2025 (formerly AACC Annual Scientific Meeting and the Clinical Lab Expo) will take place on July 27 - 31 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

What is the difference between the ADLM Annual Meeting and the Clinical Lab Expo?

The ADLM Annual Meeting includes hundreds of educational sessions on a wide variety of timely laboratory medicine topics.

The Clinical Lab Expo is the exhibit tradeshow of the ADLM Annual Meeting and showcases exhibitors in all areas of clinical laboratory science.

Can I earn CE/CME at the ADLM Annual Meeting?

Yes, attendees of the meeting's scientific sessions can earn both ACCENT® continuing education (CE) credits and continuing medical education (CME) credits.

Are children allowed to attend ADLM 2025?

ADLM permits individuals aged 16 and 17 with a valid government issued photo ID to register for and attend ADLM 2025, if accompanied by a registered adult.

Children under 16 are strictly prohibited from accessing the exhibit floor or attending educational sessions at any time.

Where can I find a list/map of Exhibitors for ADLM 2025 Clinical Lab Expo?

Exhibitor maps can be found in the expo hall that can help attendees find specific booths. to view the current map of exhibitors.

How do I register to attend?

To register for ADLM 2025, please visit the ADLM 2025 registration page. You will need your ADLM credentials or will need to create an account to access the appropriate pricing.

You can also register on-site at the McCormick Place Convention Center from July 26-July 31.

How much does it cost to attend?

Details about registration fees are available on the ADLM 2025 registration page. Early Access pricing is offered through February 18, 2025. ADLM members receive discounted rates—be sure to log in with your member credentials during registration to access your member discount.

My ADLM membership has expired or will expire before the end of the meeting. Do I need to renew it before registering for the ADLM Annual Meeting?

The meeting welcomes both ADLM members and non-members. ADLM members can save over $300 on regular full conference registration. For expired or non-members, we encourage you to renew or join while registering online.

To qualify for discounted member registration fees, your ADLM membership must be valid through July 31, 2025. Renew your membership during registration and your membership will be valid for one year from the payment date, or one year from the current expiration date; whichever is later.

What is Expo Only registration?

Expo only registration allows the attendees to access the ADLM 2025 Clinical Lab Expo (open Tuesday through Thursday), Industry Workshops, Industry Theaters, Lectures on the exhibit floor, the Poster Hall, and more. Registration fees start at $40.

How much does it cost to attend the educational sessions at ADLM 2025?

How do I register?

How do I register a group?

Group registration is not available online. To register a group of people, contact the Customer Service Center or call 1.508.743.8506.

Can I register at the convention center?

Yes, you can register on-site at the McCormick Place Convention Center from July 26-July 31. You will need to bring your Visa, Mastercard or America Express credit card and a government issued photo ID. Cash payments are not accepted onsite.

What types of payment may I use when registering?

ADLM requires full payment of all fees to register. We do not accept purchase orders or cash payments.

Online registration must be paid by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

To pay by wire transfer or check, please contact ADLM customer service.

Will I be able to pay for registration in cash on-site?

ADLM 2025 is a cashless meeting. If you are planning to pay for registration on-site, please bring your Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

What are the registration hours at the convention center?

Planning your program

Are there networking or other activities at ADLM 2025?

Numerous ancillary meetings take place during the week of the conference that are held by ADLM Divisions and Local Sections, partnering organizations, educational entities, and international working groups.

ADLM and its official entities also hold several special events over the course of the meeting. Some of these events require a ticket. Check back in the coming months for more information on these events.

Do ticketed sessions require advance purchase?

Chicago All-Access and Daily registrants can purchase tickets for ADLM University and Roundtable sessions. Advance purchase is not required, but it is strongly recommended.

Badges

Where do I pick up my badge?

You may pick up your badge at any of the "Badge Pickup” counters in the convention center and headquarter hotel. Detailed badge pickup information will be emailed to all pre-registered attendees 1 week prior the meeting.

What do I need to bring to pick up my badge?

You must show a government-issued photo ID to pick up your badge. Each registrant must pick up their own badge; representatives of groups cannot pick up all the badges for that group.

Please bring your confirmation letter or have your confirmation email available on your mobile device.

Where do I pick up my badge if I am an exhibitor?

Exhibitors may pick up their badges in the main registration area of the convention center.

Upgrades, cancellations, and transfers

How do I change/ upgrade my existing registration?

Visit the Registration Resource Center to make changes or upgrade your existing registration.

If I can't attend, can I transfer or cancel my registration?

Cancellations made on or before June 20: Full refund, minus a $100 processing fee.
Cancellations made between June 21 - July 11: 50% refund of the registration fee.
Cancellations made after July 11: No refunds will be provided.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Conference registrations can be transferred to another person until July 11, 2025. Contact Customer Service for details. No transfers allowed after this date.

Transportation

Does ADLM offer travel discounts?

ADLM has agreements with Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines offering up to a 10% discount on eligible tickets. Visit the Book Your Travel page for more information. These discounts are applicable for travel to Chicago, IL, USA starting three days prior to the meeting dates and extending three days after.

Is there transportation to the convention center from the hotels?

ADLM provides shuttle bus service from most of the official hotels. Those that do not have shuttle bus service are either within walking distance of the convention center (1 to 3 blocks) or are serviced by a shuttle stop at a nearby hotel. A shuttle schedule will be available in June.

Is there transportation to the convention center from the airport?

ADLM does not provide transportation from the airport to the convention center. There are taxi cabs and ride sharing options available. In addition, public transportation is an affordable and convenient way to get to McCormick Place Convention Center. Learn more about public transportation to McCormick Place here.
