When and where will the ADLM 2024 be held?

In 2024, the event will be at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

ADLM 2024 (formerly AACC Annual Scientific Meeting and the Clinical Lab Expo) will take place on July 28 – August 1.

What is the difference between the ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting conference and the Clinical Lab Expo?

The ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting includes hundreds of educational sessions on a wide variety of timely laboratory medicine topics.

The Clinical Lab Expo is the exhibit tradeshow of the ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting and will host exhibitors in all areas of clinical laboratory science.

Can I earn CE/CME at the ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting?

Yes, attendees of the meeting’s scientific sessions can earn both ACCENT® continuing education (CE) credits and continuing medical education (CME) credits.

Is there a job fair or career fair at the ADLM 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting?

No, there is no job fair or career fair onsite at the ADLM 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting.

Are there networking or other activities at the ADLM 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting?

Numerous auxiliary meetings take place during the week of the conference that are held by ADLM Divisions and Local Sections, partnering organizations, educational entities, and international working groups.

ADLM and its official entities also hold several special events over the course of the meeting. Some of these events require a ticket. Check back for more information on these events as we get closer to the meeting.

How much does it cost to attend the Clinical Lab Expo by itself (Expo Only registration)?

Expo Only registration fees are the same for all attendees.

Pricing for attending the educational sessions will be available in April 2024.

What's included with my registration?

Currently, Expo Only registration is open, which grants access to the exhibit hall, Exhibit Hall Theater Industry Workshops, Hotel Industry Workshops, and Lecture Series Presentations.

You may register for the Expo Only (exhibit hall access) now., You will have the ability to upgrade to a full Conference registration in April 2024. Full Conference registration includes access to the ADLM Annual Scientific Meeting educational sessions.

How do I register?

When registering online, please note that the person logged in must be the person registering.

To register by fax or mail, print the form below, then fax or mail it according to the instructions on the form.

How do I register a group?

To register a group of people:

  • Fax or mail one registration form per person (above) according to the instructions on the form.
  • Contact the Customer Service Center or call 1.508.743.8506.

Please note that group registration is not available online.

What types of payment may I use when registering?

You must pay for online registration by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

For registration by fax or mail, we also accept checks (in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. correspondent bank), or wire transfers. For wire transfer information, contact ADLM Customer Service.

Purchase orders or cash payments are not accepted.

Can I register at the convention center?

Yes, you can register onsite. You will need to bring accepted credit card as payment and a government issued photo ID. Cash payments cannot be processed onsite.

However, we strongly encourage pre-registration. When you pre-register it will help you reduce the time you spend in lines.

What are the registration hours at the convention center?

Badges

Will badges be mailed?

Name badges will not be mailed in advance.

Where do I pick up my badge?

If you pre-register, you may pick up your badge at any of several “All Badge & Materials Pickup” counters in the convention center and headquarters hotels. Detailed badge pickup information will be emailed to all pre-registered attendees about 1 week before the meeting.

What do I need to bring to pick up my badge?

All registrants must show a government-issued photo ID to pick up their badges.

Each registrant must pick up his/her own badge; representatives of groups cannot pick up all the badges for that group.

It is helpful if you also bring your confirmation letter or have your confirmation email available on your mobile device.

Upgrades, Cancellations, and Transfers

What is the upgrade policy?

Expo Only (exhibit hall access) registration may be upgraded to a Conference registration that includes access to the educational sessions beginning in April 2024.

How do I upgrade my Expo Only registration to include educational sessions?

In April 2024, registration for the educational sessions (full Conference registration) will open.

If you register for the Expo Only now, you may upgrade to full Conference registration starting in April 2024 by:

  • Returning to the Registration Resource Center (either via this page or the link in your confirmation email) and selecting “Upgrade.”
  • Faxing or mailing in a printed Conference registration form according to the instructions on the form.

Please note: The ability to upgrade in the Registration Resource Center and the Conference registration form will not be available until April 2024.

If I can't attend, can someone take my place at the Clinical Lab Expo?

No. There are no cancellations, refunds, or transfers of Expo Only registration.

What is the cancellation policy?

There will be no cancellations, refunds, or transfers of Expo Only registration fees.

Transportation

Is there transportation to the convention center from the hotels?

Yes. ADLM provides shuttle bus service from most of the official hotels. Those that do not have shuttle bus service are either within walking distance of the convention center (1 to 3 blocks) or are serviced by a shuttle stop at a nearby hotel.

Is there transportation to the convention center from the airport?

ADLM does not provide transportation from the convention center to the airport. There are taxi cabs and ride sharing options available. In addition, public transportation is an affordable and convenient way to get to McCormick Place Convention Center. Learn more about public transportation to McCormick Place here.
