Tuesday, July 28th
10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
Exhibit Hall Theater 3
Presented by Danaher (Beckman Coulter)
As health systems face increasing pressure to improve outcomes and optimize total cost of care, the clinical laboratory is emerging as a strategic leader in high-value clinical decision-making. This session explores how host response testing in acute infection and suspected sepsis assessments reflects the laboratory’s evolving role as a catalyst for collaboration between laboratorians and clinicians.
We will examine how laboratories extend impact beyond diagnostics to deliver measurable value through real-world evidence from the clinical implementation of the MeMed BV host response test. Speakers will share experiences illustrating how laboratories have integrated MeMed BV into routine workflows and supported consistent adoption.
Through a combination of scientific context and case examples, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how host response diagnostics can be operationalized at scale and how laboratories can contribute meaningful, data-driven decision support and improve antimicrobial stewardship in acute and emergency care environments.
