Antinuclear antibody (ANA) testing by indirect immunofluorescence assay (IFA) on HEp-2 cells remains the gold standard for ANA screening due to its high clinical sensitivity and ability to identify diagnostically relevant fluorescence patterns.
This workshop will present the analytical and workflow evaluation of the Sebia dIFine® P30 Processor and dIFine® Automated Microscope, demonstrating how laboratory automation can standardize slide processing, image acquisition, and pattern interpretation while preserving the diagnostic performance of conventional ANA IFA.
Attendees will gain insight into the impact of automation on laboratory efficiency, consistency, and confidence in ANA testing without compromising the clinical value of this established methodology.
